Challenging the figures

There have been recent reports that one in every two Americans is either considered low income or in poverty.

But TV station owned by NBC challenges that assessment. 

KNBC in Los Angeles reports the alarming earlier report was based on an experimental assessment. A more traditional methodology yields different results.

  1. More grist for my belief that corruption of all statistics by partisans has become so prevalent that it is unwise to trust most popular information. Some degree of trusted popular information is required for capitalism and societies to function effectively. Yet, another reason I am confident we are going down hard.
