A new video claims to speak for the hacktivist collective Anonymous. It contains a declaration of war and a call to take up arms against the United States government.
The video, posted on YouTube.com, beats around the bush until about two minutes in. The declaration of war stuff doesn't kick in until after the three minute mark.
Begs the question: What sort of twists and turns do anarchists and other radicals have in mind as the country moves closer to a presidential election later this year?
While true believers in this apparent Anonymous message may be few and far between, what are the chances we'll see new incarnations of violent radicals along lines similar to the Weather Underground rise up from those sparse ranks?
