We knew Fast and Furious blew it, but this example shows how big

What happened when Fast and Furious investigators actually caught a top target of their investigation? According to the Los Angeles Times, they let him go:
The top Fast and Furious investigator, Special Agent Hope MacAllister, scribbled her phone number on a $10 bill after he pledged to cooperate and keep in touch with investigators.
According to the Times, suspect Manuel Fabian Celis-Acosta was arrested ten months later, in February 2011, after Fast and Furious was shut down.

The arrest came two months after Border Patrol Office Brian Terry's December 2010 murder.
