News accounts out of the Motor City say a 38-year-old woman shot and killed one of four men who broke into her home in early April. TV station WJBK had one of the more complete accounts of the incident.
The shooting came about a week after another Detroiter, a 75-year-old man, shot and killed an invader who kicked in his door overnight. Base on what the man heard, there were at least two others outside who fled.
Justified self defense killings were way up in Detroit last year.
