It's Memorial Day. A day set aside to honor those who've given their lives in America's wars to defend our country and preserve its way of life. Take some time to remember those who've served and made the ultimate sacrifice.
But also take a moment or two to remember defending our country and its freedoms isn't the exclusive domain of the military. Average, ordinary citizens have a vital role too. Be active in the affairs of your government. Hold it to constitutional standards. Do what you can to make this America the same land of liberty and individual freedom past patriots gave their lives to birth and defend.
