Is the con job starting?

The Hill: State Department says the U.N. small arms treaty won't 'handicap' Second Amendment rights.

From: United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs
But remember, these soothing words come from the same administration that told you in no uncertain terms that the penalty part of the Obamacare law wasn't a tax.

Even if the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty ends up being written in the weakest of terms, I really can't see the Senate mustering enough votes for ratification. Then again, until a week ago, I never thought I'd see the Supreme Court uphold a tax where the originating legislators insisted there was no tax in the first place.

Keep a wary watch, my friends.
