Oldie but goodie

Despite temperatures in the mid-100s, my family and I stopped in to browse at an antique store as we drove through Milledgeville, Georgia late Saturday afternoon.

I saw something that caught my eye. An old hand drill for ten bucks. Fully operable, in very good condition. I just couldn't pass it up.

I've looked around for a new hand drill that I could use in places where I didn't have AC power, or for those times when my cordless drill batteries go flat. I've seen a few new crank drills I thought I might like, but they always seemed a little pricey for the the occasional use I intend.

This one should do just fine for what I have in mind.
