Sunday afternoon project

Freshly canned stewed tomatoes packed with a pressure canner.


The only thing better than having homegrown or farmer's market organic fruits and veggies is being able to can some to enjoy later when the growing season is long past.

It's also fun rediscovering skills and technology that were largely taken for granted by past generations, but that have largely been forgotten by many of us today.
