H.R. 6357

Here's a piece of proposed legislation with an intriguing title:

H.R. 6357: To prohibit the extrajudicial killing of United States citizens, and for other purposes.

Introduced last week, and sponsored by Congressman Dennis Kucinich, the bill's text isn't online yet.

But the title alone should have us questioning the scope and scale of the powers the ever-expanding federal government believes it now holds. We used to assume the Constitution alone gave us all the protection we needed.
