S.E. Cupp on Clint Eastwood

Perhaps S.E. Cupp has been feeding at the MSNBC table for too long. When it came to her assessment of Clint Eastwood at the Republican National Convention, she started to come off like a Rachel Maddow wannabee.

The brash young progressives on MSNBC's The Cycle are the types who delight in throwing old white guys under the bus, and it appears Cupp has now joined her show mates in that camp.  I'm also amused to hear how Cupp thinks she's so much smarter than the folks who ran the RNC in Tampa.

If I had to choose between Eastwood and Cupp in deciding who's dispensing a better assessment of the political landscape, I'd likely have to go with the 82-year-old with cowlick over the thirty-something in Urkel glasses. Eastwood's lived a long, full life. Cupp thinks cyanide is punch line.
