C'mon people. This was not debate to bring enlightenment.
This was red meat, with a slab for each side, and it just drives a deeper wedge into our already divided nation.
Does anyone hear the sound of timber cracking?
Forces have been set in motion. We may have even passed a point of no return, a full scale constitutional crisis taking shape. So let's not applaud the clowns who treat what's happening like fodder for some self-serving circus-like sideshow.
Update: After writing this, I see even CNN isn't sure how to describe what it aired last night.
