Obama's gun grab plan compared to waging war on Nazis

Bob Schieffer at CBS News is getting old. And he's apparently gone senile.

In assessing Obama's speech outlining gun control agenda, Schieffer compared Obama's war on guns with FDR's war that destroyed Hitler and the Nazis:

Surely, passing civil rights legislation, as Lyndon Johnson was able to do; and before that, surely, defeating the Nazis, was a much more formidable task than taking on the gun lobby. This is a turning point in this country.

Earlier this month, in a discussion with NRA President David Keene, Schieffer seemed oblivious to the difference between automatic and semi-automatic firearms.
