Supply lags

If anyone thought a ban on so-called assault weapons would chill the market, think again.

Despite proposed federal legislation to require new layers of background checks and registrations, gun makers can't make guns fast enough to meet demand.

Stag Arms, a maker of AR variants and components reports a more than one year backlog on existing orders. If you want a Stag, they suggest you check local dealers who may be in line to get those pre-ordered by distributors.
