Seems Senator Dianne Feinstein was still smartin' from her exchange with Senator Ted Cruz when she appeared on CNN Thursday.
Here's the up-cut clip where Senator Feinstein says she felt patronized by Cruz's comments. But then she goes on.
Feinstein talks of finding a dead body. And that she put her finger in the bullet holes.
Feinstein will say and do anything to keep people thinking with emotion - rather than let the Constitution, facts or reason get in the way of her push to ban guns.
Feinstein's comment about finding a body apparently refers to the 1978 assassinations of Francisco Mayor George Moscone and City Supervisor Harvey Milk. But those deaths had nothing to do with so-called assault weapons Feinstein seeks to ban. Moscone and Milk were gunned down by a former city supervisor who was also a former cop. A transcript from the gunman's trial indicates the weapon used was a short barrel Smith and Wesson .38 Special revolver limited to five rounds.
If Feinstein gets her way with modern rifles, will she move to ban .38 snubbies next?
