Connecticut lawmakers expected to vote today

As Connecticut lawmakers prepare to vote today on legislation to trample Second Amendment rights, I suspect they don't know the significance of this date in history.

April 3, 1775:  "On this date, Lord Dartmouth urges General Gage to destroy the colonists fortifications, to confiscate their weapons and military caches, and to arrest their leaders on charges of treason."*

* As recounted in the Meriden, CT Morning Record on March 31, 1975
