Your kids aren't yours. So says MSNBC's Melissa Harris Perry, who wants the collective to grasp control of your children.
Creepy MSNBC hosts are among the last kind of people I want having influence, let alone control, over my children's lives. Perhaps the whole idea of public education gets creepy if people like Harris Perry are calling the shots.
Update: The public schools have become a political power block for the Left, a government funded cash cow for teachers unions and progressive educators. Harris Perry probably isn't so much worried about the welfare of children as she is the financial strength of institutions that either directly support or support entities advocating a progressive agenda.
