The Washington Times notes:
A Southern California grandmother took a shot at a home intruder with her .357-magnum Smith & Wesson, saving her 85-year-old, wheelchair-bound, World War II veteran husband.I'm thinking Mrs. Cooper probably didn't have full power .357 magnum rounds in her revolver. Most .357s, are easier to handle (especially for elderly hands) if loaded with a light grain, standard velocity .38 Special cartridge.
Then again, maybe Mrs. Cooper doesn't mind the recoil of full power .357 load.
Either way, what she had got the job done.
