National Security Agency officers on several occasions have channeled their agency’s enormous eavesdropping power to spy on love interests, U.S. officials said.Wall Street Journal goes on to say officials swear the practice isn't common. But only a few weeks ago, President Obama assured the nation this kind of stuff didn't happen at all.
"There is no spying on Americans," Mr. Obama told Jay Leno.
But we've learned a lot since then. And the disclosures seem to keep on coming.
