Learned today that it's now taking Gwinnett County, Georgia three months to process firearms carry license applications and to get those licenses into the hands of applicants.
I'm not sure what the turn-around time is in other Georgia counties, but it appears demand for carry permits remains high.
Fortunately, for those who haven't planned ahead, there's a 90 day extension available for current permit holders that can be acquired at the time a new permit is applied for.
