The arrest of some "Vietnam veterans" in New York City is being pitched in some media as being intertwined with the federal government shutdown story.
Last night's arrests were totally unrelated to the shutdown, and were more in line with simple trespass arrests by New York authorities after peacenik John Kerry wannabes refused to leave the memorial site after a long established closing time.
