Asked by Tom Daschle in 2008 if he'd every resort to a "nuclear option," Reid responds...
"As long as I am the leader, the answer is no."
Reid sounds pretty adamant about his position.
"I really do believe it will ruin our country."
Another promise breaker in the Democrat ranks. But that's kind of how they operate.
Like I said earlier, the path the Democrats now pursue appears to be an intentional one.
