Treated like a criminal after serving her country, exercising her rights...

Serving your country in the military used to be something admired in the community.

And you'd think passing a background check to get a gun carry permit would show good character or, at the very least, a clean criminal record...

Not so anymore says the mom of a student in a Richmond County, Georgia school.

Parent and former school volunteer Tanya Mount says she was given a trespass warning - and told not to return to the campus:
She asked what she did wrong. "The principal is scared of you and she doesn't want you on the grounds. I ask for what? And he asks were you in the Army and I said yes. He's like do you have a concealed weapons permit? I said yes," says Mount.
In preparing its report, WRDW TV was told the principal of the school was unavailable for comment.
