Connecticut newspaper demands action

Untold thousands of gun owners have apparently refused to comply with Connecticut's new rifle and magazine registration law. Now along comes the Hartford Courant newspaper demanding that the state take action to hold these scofflaws accountable.

Anyone get the feeling that Connecticut 2014 is starting to feel like Massachusetts 1775?

I also wonder how many Connecticut gun owners have borrowed an alleged trick of Saddam Hussein's - That they've whisked their at-risk arms across the border to someplace where they can be safely stored until some point in the future.

David Codrea has additional thoughts on the Courant's shrill and short-sighted call.

IBD also has some thoughts on Connecticut's folly.

Mike Vanderboegh responds to the Courant citing a different law - the law of unintended consequences.
