The Coke commercial hit a sour note

I think the idea behind tonight's Coca-Cola Super Bowl commercial was supposed to reflect a more diverse America...

But it came across like America's becoming a Tower of Babel.

The images and the faces weren't the problem. It was the lack of unifying language.

Is Coke planning to label its domestic consumption cans and bottles in various languages? Probably not.

Sorry, Coke. Your commercial missed its mark.
