Mr. Rink was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was the flight engineer and gunner in a B-29 Bomber in the U. S. Air Force, serving in World War II and Korea. He had worked in the fingerprint division for the FBI. He also had worked at General Electric, serving in the Apollo Space Program and the Lunar Module Program at the Kennedy Space Center. Mr. Rink was tax commissioner for the City of Springdale for many years, was a long time member of Atonement Lutheran Church, and a member of the VFW in Fairfield. He passed away Friday May 16, 2014.Dad turned 92 last year.

You are in my thoughts, Doug. My dad was 93 when he passed back in '93 but I'll never forget him or what he meant to my mother, my sister and me. It will be the same for you.
