America's refugee crisis deepens

As long as government keeps the crisis contained behind high fences and opaque walls at military bases, maybe government thinks we won't notice what's happening.

But the crushing flow of an immigration on our southern border continues unabated.

Todd Starnes, writing at Fox News, seems to have a source or sources inside at least one immigrant holding area:
The mass migration of illegal immigrants into the United States is like a “hurricane that won’t stop,” according to sources inside an organization contracted to run refugee camps for the Department of Health and Human Services.
What's really going on inside these camps?

Hard to say.

Even a sitting member of Congress has been denied access to a holding facility inside his own district. Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) is supposed to be the people's representative who gives his district representation. He's supposed to be the government. But he's shut out.

Bad enough when the president doesn't think he's accountable to Congress. Now field level bureaucrats are asserting the same.

Meanwhile, the most destitute members of Central America's population continue to flood north.

I can't believe this is a spontaneous migration. I suspect those trodding north believe our government has promised an open door, sustenance, and other social services to those who manage to cross the border.

And, fact is, we don't know for sure what they're being told inside these government run intake centers.

Nor do we have any idea who or what is slipping past our overwhelmed border without detection because those who are supposed to be guarding our border are being pressed into service as immigrant caretakers.
