President Obama was aboard Air Force One, flying to an "infrastructure" event and photo op in Delaware. Media reports say Obama will head to New York fundraiser after the Delaware event.
ABC News reported Vlad Putin was first to make Obama aware of the Malaysian Airlines incident in a phone call while the president was on his Delaware bound flight. Later, I think I heard ABC say the Obama team may dispute the initial version of notification events.
One other nugget mentioned almost in passing on ABC: Obama's top national security adviser is apparently on vacation in Africa. Go figure.
Update: ABC News reports President Obama will stick to his planned schedule today. ABC news reports, as of around 1:15pm, Obama is meeting with officials at a barbecue pit in Delaware.
