Big whoop. Now, how 'bout some action?

Texas Gov. Rick Perry was a no-show at the airport when President Obama flew into Austin for a fundraiser.

I'm seeing conservatives cackle on social media how Gov. Perry really stuck it to Obama over the border immigration crisis.

Seriously?

If the crisis is half as bad as some people say it is (and I suspect it is, or worse), if Obama won't act  to seal the border, Gov. Perry should take action on his own. Put the Texas National Guard on border. It's within the governor's scope of authority, according to Janet Napolitano. She told Perry so when she was head of DHS.

If cost is the issue, sue the federal government to recover what's spent.

And consider the cost to Texas communities (and the nation) if the flood of illegal immigration isn't stopped.
