One might make the argument that the damage is done, or at the very least, the fuses lit.

Now all Mr. Obama has to do is sit back, and watch the delayed reaction of America to the policies he's implemented play out.

Not to rule out he may lob another hand grenade or two with things like executive action on immigration.
