DHS now in the biz of seizing car

This really happened in North Carolina: The Department of Homeland Security sent a raid-size team to snatch a couple's recently purchased 1985 Land Rover. The vehicle apparently has a paper trial the feds deemed suspicious; all but a limited number of original import Land Rover Defenders are banned in the U.S. because they runs afoul of EPA regs.

Full story at WBTV in Charlotte.

Perhaps we're starting getting a better idea of why Barack Obama told us in 2008 he needed an enhanced civilian national security force just as strong, just as well equipped, just as well funded as the military.

DHS and EPA now have the resources to snatch people's odd-ball old cars.

Yet the same DHS claims it lacks resources to enforce immigration law.
