Obama's been sitting on his hands the past few months, trying to make the ramp up to elections seem normal as possible.
No telling what happens after today, regardless of who wins, at least in the short term.
Even if Republicans take the senate, Democrats there now can continue to give Obama a free hand during their lame duck period.
