Good luck finding the popular variant of 5.56x45 ammo known as "green tip" or M855.
M855 is a favorite round for many AR-15 shooters, but it's hard to come by now that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has proposed M855 come under a civilian consumer ban.
Anti-gun activists can't get the popular support for new widespread government gun, magazine and ammo bans they want, so they'll parse words and use bureaucracy in an attempt to keep whittling away at availability in any way they can.
