Looks to me like the Associated Press wanted to hype "prepping" and "gun stockpile" labels.
It headlines a story out of North Carolina with "Fed charge three men accused of prepping for martial law."
But when you get into the text, you see it was alleged bomb making and a desire to obtain a firearm for someone with a criminal record that resulted in criminal charges.
