Not going anywhere

"It is taking away the right to possess and bear arms, and you can put lipstick on that pig all you want, but it's still a pig, and it's not going to be something that we're going to deal with in this House," - Georgia House Speaker David Ralston, reacting to a Democrat sponsored bill to ban "assault weapons" and "high capacity" firearms magazines in Georgia.

    Hey Doug;

    Right now it won't go anywhere, but in 20 years...it might with the demographic shift, between the yankees coming down from the north bringing in their voting pattern and the large minority population that seemed to be wed to the denmocratic party...I think Georgia will go purple and possibly blue in 10 years.
