Media was full of hype over the weekend, letting us 500,000 or 600,000, maybe even 800,000 mostly student activists packed Washington DC for an anti-gun rally.
According to CBS, a professionally generated tally of march size came in much, much lower.
About 200,000.
With celebrities and the entire gun-control movement likely spending millions to make this rally what it was, it's doubtful they'll ever admit how far below expectations the turnout was.
